Fenech & Fenech Advocates has appointed twin brothers Antonio Ghio and Joseph Ghio as partners of the firm.

Established in 1891, Fenech & Fenech Advocates is the oldest and one of the leading law firms in Malta, providing value-driven, tailored legal services across all practice areas.

Antonio Ghio joined the firm in 2002 after completing his LL.M. in ICT Law at Strathclyde University and was tasked with setting up the ICT and E-Commerce Department of the firm. He lectures ICT Law and CyberCrime at the University of Malta and sits on the board of directors of the Malta Communications Authority.

Joseph Ghio joined Fenech & Fenech Advocates seven years ago and holds a Masters in Financial Services from the University of Malta. His main areas of practice are financial services, asset finance and aviation law.

In a comment to The Times Business, Antonio Ghio said he was delighted to have been offered partnership of the firm and added that he now looks forward to continue working alongside the other partners to strengthen the firm's offering in ICT and remote gaming law.

Joseph Ghio will be a partner in the Investment Funds, Financial Services and Aviation Departments of the firm. He said he was honoured to join such a strong team of leaders in their respective areas of practice and was very excited about the challenges ahead.

Fenech & Fenech Advocates and its associated corporate and trustee services companies spearheaded by Fenlex Corporate Services Ltd have a total complement of over 70 professionals and support staff. With the appointment of Antonio Ghio and Joseph Ghio, the number of partners of the firm increases to eight.
