No injuries in Zebbug house fire
No one was injured this morning when a gas leakage caused a fire in a house in Zebbug.
People on the scene said the fire broke out in the bathroom and quickly filled the house with smoke. The residents rushed out to the balcony calling for help.
They were rescued by fire-fighters of the Civil Protection Department.

Much has been commented (including myself !!) with regards to the fatal road accidents this new year.
I'd like to extend such awareness re health & safety. How many people are aware that switching on or off a switch can trigger an explosion if there is a gas leak? (to give just one example)
This is the kind of awareness programmes that should be aired,etc on our media channels. AWARENESS, authorities. Doesn't cost much next to the loss of limb!
