Another 6,000 people took the A H1N1 swine flu vaccine today, raising the total to 18,234, the Health Department said.
It added that there was also strong demand to the MMDNA home nursing service for the vaccine to be administered at the homes of people who do not go out.
Despite an increase in the number of nurses during the vaccination period, requests were much higher than expected. The department stressed that it is only housebound people who should request vaccination at home.
