A group of 15 or so kite surfers rode the waves as a strong north-westerly wind blew into Armier Bay, yesterday. In kite surfing, an individual rides over waves on a board using a kite to propel him. Occasionally, a kite surfer can get completely airborne, requiring a cautious landing to avoid tumbling off the board.
