A Hungarian national, who lives in London, this morning pleaded guilty to trying to steal a number of items from a room at the Intercontinental Hotel in St Julian’s yesterday evening.

After taking into consideration his early guilty plea, Magistrate Edwina Grima conditionally discharged the man for a year.
