The number of people which die from seasonal influenza each year (actually, each winter) is still far greater in proportion than the victims claimed by AH1N1

Some people in UK were in perfect health condition and still died from Swine flu. So the case of poor health does not apply anymore.

I think we all just have to be careful in public places and stay away from those who are not decent enough to cover their mouths when sneezing or coughing.

The Maltese Government has absolutely nothing to do with this. Swine Flu is a man-made virus, created by some nut in a laboratory. Personally, I don't trust the vaccines either.

I offer my sincere condolences to the family of the poor man who has passed away. To lose anyone, at any time, especially at Christmas is difficult.

WHY the current fixation with swine flu? Many thousands die of seasonal (ie normal) influenza EVERY YEAR. Poor people, homeless people, old people and many many more.... While i regret that anyone, in ANY country die from a curable disease, It is SURELY far LESS an issue than many other things we need to concern ourselves with.

I know, I caught it last August and i am still here...

The article on the MailOnline is dated 15th August; since then the vaccines for H1N1 have been given to millions of people over a span of several months and there is no evidence of a link to Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS),

'More people died from the vaccination than from swine flu' in the above article refers to the situation in 1976; the swine flu then did not develop into a pandemic, and that vaccine increased the risk to GBS.

The situation today is altogether different. People, young and old, have died from H1N1, and the vaccines has been shown to be safe. I will definitely take the vaccine!

We all try to be opitimistic regarding swine flu, and it is true that people die from common flu and other virsues.
But what do we know regarding the swine flu injection should we take it or not are there any side effects that one should know about. How can I know if I am well enough or health to take the injection

all we know that all those people who died from swine flu had some sort of condition, nothing else. What about the swine flu injcection how safe is it, is it hundred percent proved and tested. I think we have very little information of what is going on in our country as always.

I've had the influenza jab in my left arm and the A H1N1 in my right arm ....My GP did warn me that i will get a headache in the evening and the right arm will be more sore than the left....which was true enough.

I buy the Daily Mail every day and if i had read this article perhaps i would have thought twice.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (cdc), acknowledges that at least 2 studies have suggested that the swine flu vaccine may increase the incidence of the neurological disease Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). HOWEVER, the following facts should be considered:

-This swine flu vaccine is different from that used in 1976, hence data referring to the 1976 period those no apply to the present vaccine
-The two studies referred to above suggest that the vaccine may possibly be linked to increased risk of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) YET THIS RISK WOULD BE LESS THAN 1 PER MILLION!
-Hence the swine flu illness has a higher mortality rate that is much higher than the GBS risk from the vaccine

More people died in America from having the jab than from having the virus. 37,000 British pensioners died last winter from Flu brought about by the cold and not from swine flu or any other new strain.Not a lot in the press about that. Scaremongering has become a fasion in the western world, people die every day, always have, always will.Sad but true.Bury the dead and get on with life.Stop trying to make everyone miserable with scaremongering.

One must note and read what the daily mail of UK said on Swine Flu. When you read this you will see that one should beware before one take this jab [injection] Other papers said that many would be killed with either the swine flu or with the jab.
