Cribs and Christmas art exhibition launch

The Cribs and Christmas Art Exhibition was recently launched by Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) CEO Josef Formosa Gauci and Charles Bellia of the Għaqda Ħbieb tal-Presepju, at the Auberge d'Italie.

Mr Bellia thanked the authority for the support it extended to the organisation to hold the exhibition within the MTA premises. He also thanked the 60 artists whose works are on display.

Mr Formosa Gauci said the crib exhibition is a very meaningful event for the tourism industry. He added that, over the past years, the MTA has been promoting Malta as a tourist destination rich in heritage and culture. This kind of emphasis brands Malta as a destination where events are of a wide and varied choice.

The exhibition, featuring 25 cribs and various paintings, sculptures and floral arrangements, is open daily until January 6. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 9 a.m. until 6 p.m and Saturday 9 a.m. until noon. Entrance is free. The exhibition will be closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Day and on Sundays.
