Health and safety courses

The Institute of Health and Safety is holding the NEBOSH National Certificate in Environmental Management starting on February 22.

This will help organisations seeking to implement effective environmental management systems by ensuring that line managers have a sound understanding of the principles of managing environmental risk.

The institute is also holding the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Health and Safety, starting in March. The course will provide candidates with a good foundation in health and safety.

NEBOSH courses set the standard for anyone concerned with health and safety at work and those who hold NEBOSH qualifications can be confident they have achieved the benchmark for success at their chosen level. An Introduction to Fire Safety course will be held on March 1 and 3. This course trains staff on fire prevention, what should be done in case of fire, and how to use the various fire extinguishing equipment available.

For more information, call the institute on 2131 1966 or e-mail info@ihs.com.mt.
