New range of ATMs at Bank of Valletta branches
Bank of Valletta has installed a series of new, state-of-the-art ATMs at Hamrun, Preluna, Qormi, Zabbar, Marsa, Naxxar, San Gwann, Paola and Rabat. Another will be installed in Gozo shortly.
The new ATMs are the first of their kind to be installed in Malta, following a similar ATM installed as a trial earlier this year. These come complete with touch screens and accept cash and cheque deposits without the need for an envelope. Cash is scanned and deposited into the customer’s account immediately while cheques are deposited within a short time, with the ATM providing instant proof of deposit.
The ATM’s have temporarily been installed inside the bank's branches to enable customers to become accustomed to their features, while staff offer any necessary assistance.
They will subsequently be installed on branch facades where their services will be available to customers around the clock.

Another Mtarfa resident that has no access to a nearby ATM. Let's start the race to see which bank installs an ATM in our community first. The first will find existing customers and others who will flip bank in a heartbeat, for the added convience.

First of all I would like to congratulate Bank of Valletta, for this new generation of ATM's that they are installing.
I would like to suggest ,that after the huge success that BOV had with the free standing ATM that they installed in Santa Lucija,they will consider installing, this type of ATM.
As BOV well knows this ATM, does not only serve their Santa Lucija, clients ,but also other clients from around the area.

Please install one in Swatar BOV, I work there and all I can find is HSBC and APS machines only. Swatar is growing with the hospital there, the business centre and many businesses opening up.

Great Intiative!! I like the way you can deposit cheques directly in ATM/ and you get a scanned copy as reciept as one can do in the Valletta ATM

Hope these will be operational when BOV customers need to use the ATM and not out of service as is sometimes the case!!
