HSBC 'hero' donates reward
Patrick Gauci, an HSBC employee who has been awarded the title of Local Hero by the HSBC Group for having detected and stopped a fraud transaction from taking place, has donated his monetary reward of US$5,000 to the Malta Community Chest Fund.
Margaret Abela, vice chairman of the Malta Community Chest Fund, commended Mr Gauci's integrity at his place of work and his noble thought of passing on his reward to the fund for the benefit of children in dire need of indispensable medical assistance.
