Adrian Mintoff has been elected as the G4S employee from Malta to serve on the G4S European Works Council.

Under European Union legislation, every multinational with a strong involvement in an EU member state is expected to set up a European Works Council bringing together employee representatives from each member state to sit at the same table and meet the multinational management for employee involvement issues in general. Such employees are elected from among workers in each member state.

The secretary of the General Workers' Union's professionals, finance and services section (PFS), Cory Greenland said he was confident this would be a good experience for G4S Malta employees as they would be able to network and exchange views with G4S employees from other EU member states.
