Luqa club's unique Christmas lighting
A band club in Luqa has covered the façade of its premises with hundreds of light bulbs for Christmas, and synchronised them to music. The shows, by Unione Band Club, are put on daily between 5pm and 9 pm. They can be seen in the link below

@Agius. Dear Mr. Agius we are all fans of other Band Clubs and we admire all the work that is done from all these Clubs. We are from Luqa and that was our idea for this year. I was at Paola last week during a huge activity that was organized!! Good Job Well Done!!!. But please do not tell us what to do, everybody has his ideas to generate publicity to his Club. People like you Mr.Agius should not even say that they form part of a Band Club if they do not appreciate what other Band Clubs do.

As a member of the L'Unione Club I must give my thanks to all those who worked on this project and after the success which was achieved in our Festa with something very similar but to live music, we are much impressed with this new success.
Thanks you again!
You make us prud to hail from Luqa!

Seems to me that these blogers have never seen anything in their lives. We are in Christmas not in a disco fantasy. All those lights moving left and right are just crazy man. If you want to see something spectacular just go and see the Paola Band club. That is truly majestic. not the hiphopping with tiny bulbs as if we are at a Cabaret. Some people have a lot to learn.

Super Prosit - what great idea!!
@D.Abdilla - you should consider a management career - you can do nothing all day and complain about other people's work :)

So many whiners. And the comment about appropriate music - too funny.
Merry Christmas.

@ D Abdilla
Music was good and energetic; perfect for this light show. It's the Carol of the Bells by Trans Siberian Orchestra and the guys at the Band Club have done a wonderful job with the light choreography. Well done to those involved and season's greeting to everyone.

The show has 5 more different songs so if you will be there you can see all of them. The music you will hear trough the link is of the Transaiberian Orchestra which plays only classical music and Christmas songs.

Fantastic! This is as nice as fireworks but costs much less and is definitely far less dangerous. Hope we'll have a few more around Malta.
