Epiphany Concert opened to the public
The Epiphany Concert which used to be held before a select audience is being opened to the general public following a decision by the President.
The Ministry of Education and Culture said the venue will therefore be moved from the Palace to the Mediterranean Conference Centre.
The concert will be presented by the National Orchestra on January 3 and will also feature wheelchair dancing and performances by the students of Pippa Roberts and the Brigitte Gauci Borda School of Ballet.
Tickets which are free of charge and on a first come, first served basis, may be collected by the office of the Community Chest Fund at the Palace, Valletta, or the Mediterranean Conference Centre, during office hours.

What a nice gesture.
When I was an MP several people would ask me for this privelege. If my memory serves me well for this special occasion I only attended three times - the others were given out to different persons each year.
Above all, the tradition to be free of charge is being kept. In some other countries in Europe this type of concert is worth a handsome amount of euros. Well done Mr. President.
