Go recently pledged its full support to L-Istrina, Malta's fundraising campaign scheduled this year for Boxing Day.

Go is one of L-Istrina's longest-standing partners and recently presented the Malta Community Chest Fund (MCCF) with a donation of €21,379 from call charges waived during last year's edition.

Logistic preparations are currently underway at one of the newest Lufthansa Technik (Malta) hangars in Ħal Farruġ, Luqa - the venue for L-Istrina 2009. Go recently installed a state-of-the art phone-in system that will enable members of the public to pledge their donations by phone.

Go communication services at the fundraising marathon include PABX equipment, fixed lines, 60 donation lines for €12 donations, 30 to receive €24 donations, a substantial amount of other exchange lines, hotlines, pledge lines, general lines with hunting, SMS donation lines and other mobile connections, data connections for high-speed ADSL as well as DTTV connections at various strategic points earmarked for use by the L-Istrina teams.
