Qormi humiliate Floriana
Qormi - Floriana 6-2
Camilo da Silva scored four goals as Qormi humiliated Floriana to record their highest premier league win this season so far.
Camilo headed Qormi ahead on 13 minutes before Ryan Darmanin equalized momentarily. But the Brazilian scored with two more crisp finishes before half-time as the first period ended 3-1.
Alfred Effiong smashed home Qormi's fourth goal as Camillo notched his fourth goal on 58 minutes.
Darmanin gave Floriana the briefest of lifelines when he controlled a cross from the right before smashing the ball beyond Farrugia on 79 minutes. But Farrugia restored Qormi's four-goal cushion from the spot.

@RW CURMI Like the other persons writing Mr Curmi you are entitled to your own opinion and views - stating the truth can never be an insult - if, as the Italians say, la verita offende - too bad - my opinion on the local scene is based on what i've seen over the years... now if you'd like to get into a debate about the level of local football as compared to foreign...fine let's do that - but i'm sure you know the reality of this... i repeat if you get excited watching local football - fine, good luck and God bless ... but don't expect all the rest of us to be as excited as you - mud slinging it was not my friend, but just compare our progress to the Turks, the Greeks, the Cypiots etc... and you'll get my point... in the meantime enjoy the excitment - and please don't judge me - you don't know me - we're discussing FOOTBALL!!!

You said "As far as you are concerned the subject is closed". Then why did you throw the mud in the first place if you weren`t ready to receive it back?
you insulted people that follow local soccer by say it`s a total farce, beside insinuating something else! It seems that you are one of those people ready to thrash anything Maltese and anything foreign is perfect.
Free speech! No one is denying you that, however be ready next time you comment because free speech is for everyone

Charles Aquilina
Comments from people like yourself I don't answer - waste of time.
Mr.Mifsud
My comments were sarcastic - following the local football takes all of five mins. Exciting?... yes well unlike Charles Aquilina i believe in freedom of speech and if this sort of level of football is exciting to you - fine, enjoy it ... it isn't to me (and, I dare say to thousands of others) - and like you I have a right to express that opinion.
And i've done so without resorting to insults like Mr. Aquilina...enough said - as far as i'm concerned subject closed.

Mr Calleja...they lost 5-2 last week.....and if you don't follow local football then why try making judgments? That's what makes football more exciting, the unpredictability. How exciting is it in England that the same "top 4" have been the "top 4" for a number of years?

ermm I don't really follow local football - but isn't this the same team that was thrashed itself last week 5-0 or 5-1???... remarkable comeback to hand out a thrashing itself this week - 6-2 no less - and against Floriana.... incredible stuff.... very plausible indeed!!!... no wonder the local game is followed by a very low percentage of football lovers, it's a total farce!!!
