Yet another fatal accident
Yet another fatal road traffic accident on the islands, this time on Gozo. On a zebra crossing where we should feel reasonably safe. Drive through Victoria at any time of the day, and see vehicles not only parked near crossings, but actually on them.
Yet another fatal road traffic accident on the islands, this time on Gozo. On a zebra crossing where we should feel reasonably safe.
Drive through Victoria at any time of the day, and see vehicles not only parked near crossings, but actually on them. Double parking on the main road is the norm, even outside the police station. Pedestrians crossing the road can be well onto the road before they can be seen by the driver, who will take the blame for not being observant, should the pedestrian be hit.
Another moan is the use of disabled parking spaces.
This is everywhere, not only on Gozo. Some drivers need to understand that unless you have a visible current blue disabled parking permit, these spaces cannot be used.
Come on traffic wardens.
Stop spending time jumping out of the bushes on the Mġarr to Victoria road on a revenue-collecting exercise and take control of the traffic on the island.
