Anyone who has experienced the loving relationship between a blind person and his guide dog can have no doubt that it is of mutual benefit and merit to both of them.

Guide dogs are very carefully chosen, many being rejected, because only those animals with a natural inclination towards caring are suitable.

All the guide dogs I have observed have been happy, well loved and loving canine characters and to compare them with circus animals and incite protest against their lives as Charles Camilleri did is ridiculous and highly irresponsible.

Clearly he is an animal lover, which is commendable, but has not completed appropriate research before issuing comment.
