This beautiful picture was taken when a group of ramblers trekked from the top of Mellieħa ridge to Selmun Palace on a recent sunny day. The view is of the valley and the sea beyond at a spot called Xagħra ta' Girdellu. An oil rig being assisted by tugboats can be seen in the distance. The revitalising walk was led by Alex Vella, honorary secretary of the Ramblers Association.
