Two key Birkirkara players banned

Birkirkara will have two key players missing for Saturday's top-of-the-table match against Valletta.

Joseph Zerafa has been given a one-match ban for the red card he received in the 5-2 victory over Qormi. During the same match, Birkirkara midfielder Paul Fenech collected his fourth yellow card which triggered an automatic one-match suspension.

Tarxien Rainbows, who play bottom team Dingli on Sunday, also had two players - Stacey Vella and Anderson Mendes Ribeiro - on the suspensions list while Ħamrun Spartans will have to do without Roderick Fenech for Saturday's match against Hibs.
