Patrol boat may be based in Gozo
The AFM is considering the possibility of deploying a patrol boat to solely patrol the waters around Gozo, once delivery of new patrol boats is made in the coming months, the Prime Minister said in Parliament.
He said the deployment would form part of measures to strengthen surveillance in the North of the Maltese islands.

Gozo needs to be given all needed facilities as found in Malta. At least at a second level. But not nothing. No Rehabilitation Unit. No Dementia Unit. Yes I thank the FAM for this important decision to deploy a patrol boat in Gozo. But why 'may be based in Gozo' and not 'based in Gozo'. I hope that this decision be implemented.

About time. In the old times, it used to be a patrol boat based in Gozo.
