Focus on 2008/09 winners

The Karting Club (Malta) recently brought the curtains down on the 2008/2009 Café Oasis Championship with a presentation ceremony at the New Dolmen Hotel.

All the drivers who won races in the three categories of the championship were awarded trophies during last month's well-attended activity.

The club also announced that 14-year-old driver Lucas Pace will be representing Malta in the Junior Rotax Max Challenge in Egypt.

Paul Mizzi, the club president, presented trophies to the three overall champions - Renald Farrugia in the 100cc water cooled class, Jacques Mizzi in the KF Class and Gianluca Dingli in the 125cc restricted.
