The Netherlands has launches the first canal boat to be powered by pollution-free fuel cells.

The champagne bottle didn't break the first time but this Dutch canal cruiser may be a lucky break for the environment in the longer term.

The vessel, which can carry nearly 90 people, is said to be the first of its kind to run on pollution-free fuel cells.

The system mixes hydrogen and oxygen to create electricity and water without the greenhouse gases.
