Fees for services at Mater Dei Hospital for those not entitled to the free medical service are being revised in line with a recent costings exercise, Social Policy Minister John Dalli said in Parliament.

He said that the current fees were: Consultation at the Emergency Department - €46.59. Consultation at the Out-Patients' Department, €34.94.

Major complex operation €6,406. Major Operation, €2,329. Intermediate Operation, €1,048. Minor operation under local anaesthesia, €256. Minor operation under general anaesthesia, €466.
