Mcast students graduate

One of the reasons SR Technics chose Malta to build its new maintenance facility was the quality training offered by the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology, the college said.

Over 900 students will be graduating at Mcast this week and certificates were last night awarded to students from the institutes of Information and Communication Technology and Building and Construction Engineering.

The college, which has over 5,500 full-time students, has established strategic alliances with various institutions within the industrial and business sectors. It is working closely with the aviation maintenance sector and the banking, ICT, printing and marine industries.

Mcast praised student Philip Cardona, who placed second in the EU Contest for Young Scientists with his Cappuccino Logo Printer project, which prints logos on the froth of coffee using food colouring.
