EPTDA adds company visits to its 2010 annual convention in Malta

The European Power Transmission Distributors Association, the leading international organisation of the power transmission and motion control industry, will add company visits for its members and convention delegates at its 2010 annual convention in Malta, themed Our Future.

The company visits will be organised in strategic partnership with Malta Enterprise, aimed at creating additional tangible benefits for the association's members.

"EPTDA's Annual Conventions are the one and only executive meeting platform for key decision makers of the PT/MC Industry. Our collaboration with Malta Enterprise has helped us to add another valuable benefit for our loyal members, who will now also get insight into the way new Europe is shaping up and doing businesses with fast-developing business hubs like Malta," commented Hans Hanegreefs, executive vice president of EPTDA.

"It is not often that a non-profit organisation creates joint-initiatives like this with the business community to establish new venues for increased business opportunities," added Mr Hanegreefs. "In testing times like today, when companies are looking at shifting business models and new methods of gaining market share, we want to play a leading role in bringing these opportunities right into the hands of our members."

From September 29 to October 1, 2010, EPTDA will welcome close to 300 business owners, CEOs, managing directors and other key decision makers of the PT/MC industry at Hilton Malta.

"We are delighted to have teamed up with a leading organisation like EPTDA to support the 2010 event in Malta. Through our collaboration, we are creating more awareness about Malta's prolific business environment while at the same assisting the EPTDA in continuing in its mission," said Alan Camilleri, executive chairman of Malta Enterprise and Malta Industrial Parks.
