Charles Scerri's team will be making their debut in the Elite Round, along with Slovakia, after placing third in the UEFA mini-tournament in October.
Besides England, Malta will also face Slovakia and Sweden in the mini-tournament that will be played in March in a venue yet to be confirmed by UEFA.
