I suggest that a steel bridge will conneci the two massive vertical walls this by no means will eleminate the general idea of R.P. want to introduce to Valletta as when you see the Steel Bridge comming in or out your mind will tell without hesitation that this bridge is additional structure to the original to facilitate the traffic flow round the periphery of Valletta.
I also wish to see two bronze figures of La Valette and that of L"Isle Adam erected just outside as you comming in to Valletta which after all it bears his name
