Police arrest six for drug possession

The police have arrested six youths after finding them in possession of drugs during a party at Ta'Qali.

In a statement this afternoon, the police said the arrests were made by the Drug Squad overnight. The six were found in possession of cocaine and ecstasy. They are between 17 and 24 years old and resident in Valletta, Floriana, Dingli, Attard and Sliema.

Earlier today the AFM said they had arrested four youths after finding drugs during vehicle checkpoints. Another was arrested for driving without a licence
