BRINCAU. On December 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, TWANNY, aged 73, of Ħamrun, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Antoinette, his children Lino and his wife Grace, Ruth and her husband John, and Stephen, his grandchildren Lara and Kirk, his brothers Salvu and his wife Carmen and Michael and his wife Lela, his sister Doris and her husband George, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9 a.m. for Fatima church, Guaramangia, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment in the family grave and the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FIORINI. On December 5, at his home in Birżebbuġa, EFFIE, aged 85, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Ġuza née Schembri, his children Lydia and her husband Angelo Di Noto, Claudette and her husband John Bundy, his grandchildren Stefania, Claudio and Samyra, great-granddaughter Giorgia, his sister Connie Damato, sister-in-law Mary Fiorini, wife of his late brother Dr Joe Fiorini, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Peter's parish church, Birżebbuġa, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery (lower part). GREGORY. On December 5, at Zammit Clapp Hospital, JOSEPHINE, née Casolani, aged 92, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Walter and his wife Joanna, Cecilia and her husband Godfrey Leone Ganado, and Francis, her grandchildren Suzannah and her husband Dr Lennart Depasquale, Gillian and her husband Edward Saguna, Michael, Caroline and her husband Victor Azzopardi, Kyra and Lara, her great-grandchildren Federica, Siena, Luigi and Faith, her sisters-in-law Marie Casolani and Josephine Casolani, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery (upper part). Lord, grant her eternal rest and peace in your Kingdom.

MIZZI. On December 5, JOHN, aged 92, of Mosta, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his son Oliver and his wife Mary, her grandchildren Veronica, Omar Enrique and his wife Lucienne and their children Gianluca and Antonio, relatives and friends. The funeral will be held on Wednesday and leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 7.45 a.m. for the Mosta parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Eden Foundation will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

XERRI DE CARO. On December 5, at Charella Residence for the Elderly, Sliema, IMELDA, aged 87, widow of James, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her only son Frank and his wife Mariella, her grandchildren John and his wife Melanie, Simone and her husband Andrew Chetcuti Ganado, her three great-grandchildren Sean, Beata and Keira, and her brother Franco Cefai. The funeral leaves Charella Residence today at 8.30 a.m. for the Santa Maria Addolorata chapel where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment. The family would like to thank the staff at Charella Residence for the Elderly for their care and dedication.
