Labour leader Joseph Muscat and his wife Michelle recently attended an activity at Mġarr primary school marking the 20th anniversary of the signing of the children's rights convention. During the event, Commissioner for Children Carmen Zammit spoke to the children present about their rights and responsibilities.

The convention includes 41 children's rights, the most important of which include the right to an education, the right to a family and the right to good health.

Addressing the children, Dr Muscat spoke about tolerance and respect and said that everybody should have the right to speak their mind.
