Children's Day was celebrated recently with activities in the courtyard and stately rooms at the Palace, Valletta. The event, supported by the HSBC Cares for Children Fund, included music, educational performances and exhibitions.
"The HSBC Cares for Children Fund is very actively involved in helping children in challenging situations; however, Children's Day is another deserving cause worth of our support and attention as it celebrates the innocence and creativity of our young ones who fill our hearts with joy," said Catherine Gonzi, chairman of the HSBC Cares for Children Fund.
Mrs Gonzi, accompanied by Youth Minister Dolores Cristina and HSBC CEO Alan Richards and his wife Lucy Weldon, was welcomed by President and Mrs George Abela.
