For the second year running, a Christmas Commission was set up at University to organise a series of activities throughout December.
These are being organised to generate Christmas spirit on campus, through which money can also be collected to help those in need. Everybody is welcome to attend, participate and donate money.
This year, the commission will collect money in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi. Money will also be collected in aid of l-Istrina, and Angels Children Home of Ethiopia.
The activities will include an Ecumenical service on Wednesday, the selling of Christmas poinsettias and mince pies, a visit to Dar tal-Providenza and the presentation of the donations by University Rector Juanito Camilleri.
This event is being organised by the University of Malta in collaboration with the Chaplaincy, KSU with the support of the Precincts Office and the Degree Plus Office, as well as a number of student organisations.
