Wistin Camilleri monument

The Wistin Camilleri Centre for Art and Crafts will be commemorating the 30th anniversary of the death of the artist with the inauguration of a monument at the centre on December 18.

Following a personal initiative, Alfred Camilleri Cauchi, son of Wistin, offered to work and donate a full-size monument of his father. Josef Camilleri, the artist's grandson, is working on the base of the monument. The centre is also celebrating its 20th anniversary.

A commemorative plaque was unveiled at the centre last July.
