The Mnarja Band Philharmonic Society recently gave a concert at the Mnarja Band Club theatre, Nadur. The band was directed by Mro Joseph Grech. Among the works performed were the Ernani - Preludio all' Atto I (Verdi), Overture - L'Italiana in Algeri (Rossini), Klarifari (Schneiders) and Sandpaper Ballet (Anderson). The second part of the concert consisted of popular medleys including Italo Oldies (Schwalgin), Country Music for Brass (Moro), Brassed Off (Staff) and An English Sea Song Suite (Sparke).
