The Malta Business Bureau (MBB) has launched a quarterly business publication, Business Agenda, and a new EU and business portal at www.mbb.org.mt, to boost the services offered to the local business community.

The two new initiatives deliver the latest developments at business and EU level that have an impact on local business.

The first issue of Business Agenda has just been delivered to local businesses, including all the members of the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry and the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association, besides authorities.

Business Agenda, which is published by Content House, is also distributed to leading EU and business organisations in Brussels.

According to MBB president George Micallef, Business Agenda has already been very well-received by the business community and it will also appeal to a wide cross-section of national and EU policy-makers.

The MBB's new business portal is packed with essential information on European issues that are of direct interest to the business community. The portal will be updated daily, and will feature the latest business news, policy and legal developments taking place locally and within the EU.

The portal will also provide essential guidance for businesses seeking to expand and make better use of the European single market or those wanting to gain a better understanding of how to benefit from EU funding.

Mr Micallef said the MBB's development of its services comes at a time when the organisation is on a momentum of change, adaptation and growth.
