PM meets Austrian Chancellor
Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi discussed trade, investment and the economic situation in talks in Vienna today with Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann.
The government said the talks will be followed-up in next month when Malta Enterprise will lead a trade delegation to Austria.
Dr Gonzi described his talks with the Austrian Chancellor as positive. He pointed out that Malta already enjoyed Austrian investment in financial services and Malta International Airport, and that investment would continue to grow.
Today's meeting followed talks earlier this week with the Prime Ministers of Finland and Latvia in Helsinki and Riga.

In your reply to John Caruana you said, "I think the only superficial persons around are you and Dr.Gonzi (ask Dr.Joe Borg)", to which I may add that the only non-superficial person around the LP is President George Abela.
Prime Minister Gonzi sees Heads of States drumming up investments and signing agreements while Joseph acts the doorman while he sees Mintoff in to the Labour Headquarters at the Mile End after having barred him access for fourteen years. There lies the difference between a spoiled child who does not believe in protocol because there is none in the junior leagues, and a Statesman who has the talent and political savvy to attract jobs while also a firm believer of protocol including arrival on time for appointments he has with others.

@ John Caruana
If Joseph Muscat in your opinion is doing all these bad things why did you bother to write about them??!! Leave him to continue to make what you called gaffes so sure people won't trust him!! Don't you think that people are clever enough to see the truth!! I think the only superficial persons around are you and Dr.Gonzi (ask Dr.Joe Borg)

Kos hux x'differenza bejn il-Prim Ministru Lawrence Gonzi u Joseph Muscat. Il-Prim Ministru jiltaqa' ma mexxejja ta pajjizi kbar u b'sahhithom u jara kif se jgib aktar xoghol lejn Malta u Muscat f'din l-ahhar gimgha tisma dwaru biss ghal ragunijiet hziena 1. Ma jitkellimx fil-Parlament meta kien qed jiddiskuti l-Ufficcju tal-Prim Ministru u bir-ragun The Times kritikatu u ghamlet sew. 2. Halla lir-Re ta' Spanja jistennih u waqqa lil pajjizna ghac-cajt 3. Qal li ma jiltaqax mal-BWSC jekk dak li jghid maghhom ma jkunx jista jsir pubbliku mbad meta gew tal-BWSC ma hallihiex lill-media tidhol issegwi l-laqgha. 4. Jinfexx jattakka l-media indipendenti 5. Wara xhur shah jattakka lis-Seg Gen tal-PN johrog id-Data Commissioner u jghid li Muscat ma kellux ragun. 6. Ilbierah jitkellem waqt laqgha taz-zghazagh laburisti li minn naha taghhom approvaw mozzjoni biex jidhol id-divorzju minghajr ebda studju serju imma Muscat qabel maghhom u qalilhom li jekk ikun fil-gvern idahhalulhom 7. What's the next gaffe dear Joseph?! Jiddispjacini nghid but he is too superficial to be trusted with the running of this country!
