Robin Gibb to honour war heroes in Malta
Music legend Robin Gibb, who will be in Malta this weekend for the Malta Music Awards, is to lay a wreath at the War Memorial in Floriana on Sunday.
Mr Gibb decided on the initiative to honour the unsung war heroes.
Gibb, who flies in tomorrow afternoon, will be receiving an International Lifetime Achievement Award, which is being presented to all of the Bee Gees.
Robin Gibb will also be visiting Valletta and Mdina and leaves on Sunday.

Re: The state of "the Anzac's Australia Hall in Pembroke" . Can the High Commissioner of Australia provide a public comment on this matter in particular if the Hall was in any way built, or at any time regarded as a memorial to, " the Australian troops who died in the Gallipoli for our and Mr Gibb's freedom ." I know as a matter of fact that the Australian Office of Australian War Graves in Department of Veteran Affairs, the Department of Defence, and r the Returned Soldiers League of Australia (RSL) are very zealous about the preservation and maintenances of the graves of, and memorials to their War Dead and Heroes anywhere in the world. I think they already maintain the graves and memorials to their War Dead at the Cemetery near TaQali and the one in Pieta'. Any comments from anybody on this matter would be appreciated/

It will be great if Robin Gibb will sing at least one song during the Malta Music Awards.

I agree that Robin should be taken to the ANZAC'S Australia Hall, but I must point out that Robin is not Australian.
He was born on the Isle of Man,a self governing island off the N.W. coast of England.

Why don't the authorities also take him to view the Anzac's Australia Hall in Pembroke while they're at it. This lovely building is a shambles and crying for restoration. So much for the Australian troops who died in the Gallipoli for our and Mr Gibb's freedom.
