A hamper set aside to be raffled in aid of the Equal Partners Foundation, which provides services for children with disability, was stolen during activities held at the Bay Street Complex on Sunday.

The event, held on the ninth anniversary of Bay Street's opening, included performances by leading local artists and also Christmas activities.

The hamper, along with other gifts, had been donated by shops located in the complex.

Martin Sapiano, who was presenting the show, expressed his disgust at the theft of something put together in aid of a good cause.
