A carnival float builder was evicted from a Nissen hut occupied without title yesterday morning.
The hut, located at the Park and Ride facility in Blata l-Bajda, was inspected by Land Department officials who had issued an eviction notice but had heard nothing from the occupier.
Inside, the skeleton of a carnival float, fridges and a hot water tank along with numerous other items were found.
Officials replaced the locks.
