Help from the OPM
Like many people, I had not received my vouchers for energy- saving bulbs. Again, like many, I telephoned and sent e-mails but had no reply.
One day, in this paper, was a second e-mail address. I sent my query and within an hour I had a reply from "Keith" from the Office of the Prime Minister.
(Unfortunately, I do know his surname). I answered his questions and he assured me that he would find out what, if anything, had gone wrong.
A few days ago, I received my voucher for five such bulbs.
Thank you Keith for all your hard work.

Prosit Anne, maybe you are not Maltese like me, but you managed!
I hope that I will manage to have my bulbs in a month's time as I was also contacted by the MRA after I wrote my letter, and told to wait for another month until which time all complaints are to be looked into and then I will surely receive my concession.
At any rate I look forward to having my share extended to me and (hopefully) be able to obtain some more light bulbs to what I have already purchased from my own pocket.
I commend this initiative, really and feel proud that the Government has come out with it as I feel that we should be doing something to alleviate the Green situation in Malta.
One other thing - how about importing more LED lights and at a better price? I bought these for a pittance from e-bay and they really work. They are so expensive in Malta.
