Birkirkara defeated Msida 4-1 on Sunday after having recovered from an Msida goal early in the match, played at the Hibs ground.
Lattes put Msida ahead after just four minutes but Birkirkara equalised through a Cilia goal in the 10th minute.
Comvalius put Birkirkara ahead in the 52nd minute and Mallia and Buhagiar sealed it for Birkirkara in the 80th minute and in injury time respectively.
The referee was Esther Azzopardi, the first time that a Premier League game was refereed by a woman.
