10.15 a.m. The President visits Santa Marija Day Centre in Gozo.

6.30 p.m. The President presides over the launching of a book entitled Jewellery in Malta - Treasures from the Island of the Knights (1530-1798) by Francesca Balzan, at the Palace, Valletta.

Thursday

9 a.m. Ms Abela visits Sacred Heart school, St Julian's, as part of the Piggy Bank Campaign.

10.30 a.m. Ms Abela visits St Margaret primary school, Kalkara.

12 p.m. The President receives a courtesy call from Labour leader Joseph Muscat, at the Palace, Valletta.

2 p.m. The President is presented with a donation by the American Chamber of Commerce in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund.

7.30 p.m. Ms Abela inaugurates an exhibition of artwork by Margaret and Joseph Ellul Vincenti in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund, at San Anton Palace.

Friday

9 a.m. Ms Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund Working Committee, at San Anton Palace, Attard.

10 a.m. The President visits the Hospice Movement, Balzan.

1 p.m. The President receives a courtesy call from Reggio Calabria mayor Giuseppe Scopellitti and his delegation, at the Palace, Valletta.

6 p.m. The President attends the inauguration of the Annual Christmas Crib Exhibition organised by Għaqda Ħbieb tal-Presepji at San Franġisk Hall, Melita Street, Valletta.

7 p.m. The President hosts a reception for participants of the Mediterranean Academy for Diplomatic Studies' 20th anniversary conference, at the Palace, Valletta.
