OWENSON. On September 29, at Nobles Hospital, Isle of Man, to Camille-Marsha née Busuttil and Owen Cutajar, a son and daughter - ALEXANDER and ARISTEA.

Marriages
Mr LIAM MULVANEY and Ms JESSICA NAPOLI
The marriage took place on Wednesday, November 4, at St Julian's parish church, between LIAM, son of Cornelius and Antoinette Mulvaney of Ta' Xbiex, and JESSICA, daughter of Antonio and Charmaine Napoli of Sliema. Fr Tony Agius celebrated nuptial Mass. The ceremony was witnessed by Alexander Muscat Azzopardi and Emmanuel Meilak. The duties of best men were carried out by Adrian Sargent, Paul Zammit, Steve Falzon and David Ciliberti. The bride was attended by Denise Cassar, Sarah Calleja, Erika Mintoff, Christine Mercieca and Chantel Xuereb Mulvaney. Jaime Lee and Samantha Jo Xuereb Mulvaney were flower-girls and Timothy Xuereb Mulvaney was pageboy. A reception was later held at Villa Mdina, Naxxar.
Obituary
MICALLEF. On November 23, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, LILY, née Parnis, of Sliema, aged 76, passed peacefully away. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joe, her children Raymond and his wife Kate, Rita and her husband Andre, Miriam and her husband Publius, and Martin, brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, other relatives, neighbours and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow at 2 p.m. for St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at Luqa cemetry. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.
VALENTE. On November 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, Fr RENATO (OC), aged 78, of the Confraternity of the Carmelite Order, passed peacefully away after a short illness comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers Italo and his wife Linda, of Leicester, UK, and Val and his wife Cettina, his nephews and nieces Renato, Valerie and Tony, Mario and Josianne, and Marco, of Leicester, UK, his great-nephew Jean Marc and his great-niece Elisa, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9.30 a.m. for the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 10 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
VELLA. On November 28, the Lord called to His home MANDY, 41, at Brompton Hospital, London. She leaves to mourn her loss her 12-year-old son Simon, her father Alfred and her mother Sonya, her sister Lara, her uncle Mgr Charles Vella, her aunts and uncle Mary Zammit, Lydia and Cecil Blake, her cousins Anna Zammit, Mark Zammit, Dorothy Galea Debono, Audrey Xuereb and James Blake, their families, and her friends, especially Catherine. The arrangements for the funeral in London will be announced later.
