Nativity cribs lecture
The Għaqda Il-Milied fix-Xagħra and Xagħra Council organised a talk on Nativity cribs at the Xagħra Youth Centre. Fr Charles Vella (above) spoke on the Neapolitan presepio and demonstrated the methods used in creating figures (pasturi).
The event was one of the many activities organised by the society to promote the Nativity scene in Xagħra.
This year there will be 12 mechanical and static cribs and a live crib on show in Xagħra .
