Microsoft Malta will on Wednesday be launching Microsoft Solutions to help local businesses become more efficient. Windows 7 is one of these solutions which will be launched in conjunction with Windows Server 2008 R2 and Exchange 2010.

The launch will be held at St. George's Corinthia and will be hosted by key Microsoft personnel who will explain how local businesses can improve their IT infrastructure to reduce operational costs and improve their efficiency.

Michael Hartmann, general manager for CEE multi-country headquarters at Microsoft, will be the keynote speaker at this event while technical experts will provide detailed information on all of the solutions through specific breakout sessions.

Ronny Bjones, a security architect for Microsoft Corporate, will explain the importance of security and how Microsoft offers trustworthy computing. With over 26 years of experience in the ICT industry Mr Bjones is also one of the authors of QuEST.

Other breakout sessions will be hosted by Bryan Bredehoeft, product solutions manager for Microsoft Collaboration Business in CEE. Mr Bredehoeft will be sharing his expertise to demonstrate and explain the new innovative features of Exchange 2010.

Mr Bredehoeft will also be supported by Alan Attard, products solutions specialist for Microsoft Malta who will host a session on Office Communication Server 2007.

Tony Kjiren, business productivity technical specialist for Microsoft Netherlands, will be hosting breakout sessions on infrastructure optimisation, during which he will explain how businesses can improve IT infrastructure through the utilisation of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
