Moorish rhythms

Photo: Ray Attard.

Guitar virtuoso Jesse Cook played to a packed City Theatre, in Valletta, on Tuesday night, mesmerising the crowd with his fiery brand of Moorish rhythms. The Toronto-based flamenco guitarist, who has sold millions of records worldwide, got the crowd to get up and sway to the beat. He was accompanied by his band - violinist Chris Church, guitarist Nicolas Hernandez, drummer Rosendo Leon and bassist Dennis Mohammed. Two budding local singers, Mandy Randon and Jeanelle Newall, also joined him on stage. The performance was organised by MRM Events.

Awesome!!! Simply brilliant, great show, great music, even got people who don't usually dance to move a bit. Jeanelle Newell of uncharted and Mandy were great too.
Sacha & Sam great too

The concert was absolutely brilliant but music like Jesse Cook's should be organised in open spaces especially in summer. It has no place in a small enclosed theatres.
