Resources Ministry launches 'Care to create change' training scheme
A project "Care creates change in people’s lives and the environment" has been launched by the Resources Ministry.
It will be run by Wasteserv with the collaboration of several other entities.
The project, financed by the European Social Fund, will train socially disadvantaged people including victims of domestic violence, vices and poverty, as well as refugees.
Participants will get basic training on waste, recycling and the good use of resources, as well as on subjects of a personal nature such as taking care of one’s finances and communication and computer training. It will provide participants with a practical work experience.
Minister George Pullicino said the project should help in the building of people in a holistic manner helping them to be successful in employment.

A very very interesting intiative indeed. As far as successfull employment is concerned, this somehow reminds of people with a "rebelious nature" !! I hope the project will address issues such as "How one should be servile or obidient to a politically appointed person who may be less qualified or experienced backed up by a politician of somekind". Otherwise, may I wish the project full success.
