The Malta Council for Science and Technology is organising a science and technology festival at the University of Malta this week, ending on Sunday.

The festival consists of a variety of activities that will be spread all over the university grounds. Children and adults alike could start off with a tour of interactive science exhibits on display were they will be invited to explore and uncover the scientific principles that make our exhibits tick.

Many organisations from all walks of life will also be present to show how important science is to the running of their daily work.

The MCST is edutainment, mixing fun with education, by engaging professional scientific animators to entertain, educate and share their passion for science with all present. The animators will be performing live experiments and controversial and exciting issues and topics will be treated.

The project is part-financed by the European Union's social fund.

The schedule of these talks is on the MCST at www.mcst.gov.mt.
