Obituary
BIANCO. On November 25, at St Vincent de Paul residence, ANTHONY (ex-Shore Foreman), of Paola, aged 86, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Lora, his children Maria and her husband Ronald, Antoine and his wife Petta, Raymond and his wife Ruth, Stephanie and her husband Stephen, his grandchildren Melody, Kaya, Kym and Sam, his sister Jessie, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul residence today at 8 a.m. for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
FENECH. On November 25, at Karin Grech Hospital, MARY of Sliema, aged 85. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Joseph and his wife Carmen, their son Adrian and his wife Miriam, her much treasured great niece Rebecca, other relatives, neighbours and friends. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GIORDIMAINA. On November 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, PAUL of Rabat, residing at Qormi, aged 79, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brother Saviour and his wife Lucy, his sister Carmen, widow of George Cutajar, nephews and nieces. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.30 p.m. for St Paul parish church, Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m., followed by interment at St Margaret Cemetery, Rabat. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.

A bazaar is being held next door to Stella Maris parish centre at 49, Cathedral Street, Sliema, between December 2 and 5. Open all day from 9.30 a.m.

Heart scan
Vodafone Malta has teamed up with Saint James Hospital to offer half-price heart scans to clients as part of its festive campaign.
The campaign, which runs until January 15, allows Vodafone customers to have a heart scan for €99 instead of €180.
It is aimed at individuals over 40 who are stressed, smoke, have high cholesterol, are overweight or have a history of heart disease in their families.
Customers can pick up a leaflet about the campaign from any Vodafone outlet or Saint James Hospital and call 2329 1000 to book the heart scan.
On the day, they will be asked to show their mobile phone display and provide their phone number, along with the leaflet.
