Qormi Wasps RFC born
A new rugby club was founded recently. Qormi Wasps RFC was the idea of a few former Sharks players and coaches who felt that the club needed re-branding and rebuilding. A new club with a new committee, new coaching staff and a lot of new players was set up to bring a new image to the locality and the team. Stanley Newbold has been appointed club president and Sam Ramage, who has 22 years' experience in the game, is the head coach.
